Brush Design

The brush can be ordered in an elegant blue, grey or pink with a soft texture that provides extra grip on wet hands. It’s got a pretty sleek and attractive design when compared to some other high street brands we’ve tried, and definitely looks more attractive when either sat on your bathroom sink or attached to your bathroom wall.

We really linked the wall holder because it’s a great way to keep your toothbrush both out of the way and hygienic, and stop any scum or residue building up on base as it sometime can when you leave a toothbrush in a cup or glass with other brushes for a while.

The handle is pretty standard in size, but we like that it has a slim ergonomic design which makes it really comfortable to grip and use, even when your hands are wet.

The bristles on the brush head are made from DuPont nylon which is both tough and gentle on your teeth and gums. They’re also set at an angle of 0.152mm which is said to be the perfect size for deep cleaning without damaging your enamel or gums.

Battery Life

The Oclean has really increased the amount of time in which you go between charging with the release of the X10. You can now go a whole 60 days in between the need to charge! Oclean’s other models such as the X Pro and Oclean X Pro Elite can go 20-40 days and 35 days in between charges respectively.

These other models are already above average when it comes to battery with other popular brands like Oral B typically only having around a 2 week life. This means with the X10 you could experience 4 times the amount of battery life as other well known brands!

This is great for those of us that can often forget to put the toothbrush on charge, as well as enable us to use less electricity – good for our pocket as well as the environment…

These prompts and emojis are great for providing you with guidance during your brushing session to make sure you’re giving your pearly whites the TLC they deserve!

Not only does the screen show you how long to brush for in each quadrant of your mouth, but it also gives you a little happy or sad face emoji to indicate whether you’ve brushed that area for long enough.

You can see when each of the quadrants have been completed by referring to the touchscreen display. They each start off in orange and as you brush, the 8 zone detection technology and motion sensor 6 axis gyroscope chip in the handle record how long you brush for in each part of the mouth – whether it be the outer side, tip of the tooth or the inner section of your mouth, the toothbrush will record your motion and time and then change the quadrant colour to bright white / blue as well as giving you a star rating out of three so that you know whether you’ve hit the optimal brushing amount or whether you need to continue for a bit longer.

We think this is a great feature as it’s often difficult to know whether you’ve brushed for the correct amount of time throughout the entirety of your mouth or whether you’ve covered each section of your mouth for an optimal amount of time.

This is undoubtedly the right electric toothbrush for anyone who wants to make sure they have an even brushing experience, covering all of their mouth, because you definitely won’t miss a spot!

It is also a great feature for those of you thinking about purchasing one of these for your kids as it’ll make sure they’re giving their teeth a good clean in a fun and interactive way.

The Oclean X10 also has a built-in timer which will automatically stop the brush after two minutes of use. This is really handy because it means you don’t have to worry about over brushing and damaging your teeth.
